UN seeks entry to Ethiopia’s Tigray to probe conflict crimes

UN human rights chief Michelle Bachelet mentioned a number of events to the battle are potential perpetrators of sexual violence and killings.

United Nations human rights chief Michelle Bachelet is asking on Ethiopia to grant UN screens entry to the Tigray area to research experiences of constant killings and sexual violence which will quantity to conflict crimes.

In a press release on Thursday, she mentioned a number of events to the battle had been recognized as potential perpetrators, together with the Ethiopian Nationwide Defence Forces, the Tigray Folks’s Liberation Entrance, the Eritrean armed forces, and Amhara regional forces and allied militia.
